We are happy to share that for our Entre2Rise project, we recently hosted two focus group sessions in Denmark, one in person and one online, both proving to be insightful and thought-provoking.
Entre2Rise is an Erasmus+ project, focused on strengthening the link between entrepreneurship and mental health support, aiming to develop tools and solutions that better support aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs.
In total, 10 entrepreneurs participated across two sessions, with five participants in each session. The participants represented different entrepreneurial experiences and included both male and female founders, contributing to a valuable diversity of perspectives.
The online session was organised in collaboration with Morgendagens Iværksættere, whose involvement added important insights from a youth entrepreneurship perspective and strengthened the quality of the discussion.
On the second day, we were particularly pleased to welcome entrepreneurs running businesses within online platforms, photography, and VR video production. Their contributions brought a strong digital and creative industry perspective to the conversation, highlighting both the opportunities and the unique pressures that come with building businesses in fast-moving, highly visible online environments.
The discussions brought forward a wide range of perspectives on entrepreneurship, mental health, and support needs. Many of the reflections clearly supported what our national surveys and initial analyses had already indicated, reinforcing key trends and challenges we have identified.
At the same time, the conversations also highlighted important differences in experiences and expectations. Not all participants shared the same needs or views on what kind of support would be most helpful, and these nuances are just as valuable. The diversity of input reminds us that solutions must be flexible and responsive to different realities.
Overall, the focus group strengthened our understanding and added important depth to our data-driven insights.
